UPP Woos Humphrey Anumudu

A frontline politician and serial governorship aspirant in Imo State, Barr.Humphrey Anumudu is on the verge of joining the United Progressive Party, UPP.

Reports surfaced on the social media last week that Anumudu may have gone into talks with the UPP leadership to pave the way for his entrance. None of his aides agreed to speak on this report but Anumudu is said to have revived his political network to take another shot at the governorship of the state in 2019.

He had vied for the PDP governorship ticket in 1999, 2007, and 2015. He lost. He surprisingly backed Governor Rochas Okorocha’s re- election in 2015 after losing the PDP governorship primary.
