Over hundred students have benefitted from the generosity of Chief Goodluck Chidera Nwaneri whose promise of purchasing forms for them became a reality over the weekend.

Chief Goodluck Chidera Nwaneri, a native of Iho-dimeze in Ikeduru local government area of Imo state, has stressed the need for families and government to prioritize on education, as he further described it as the most powerful gift a society can bequeath to its young generation.

Receiving the students at his office in Owerri last weekend, Chief Nwaneri said that part of his promises to God for blessing him was to bless others and assisting in raising a younger generation of our collective dreams.

He regretted that most brilliant students from poor homes drop out from school because of their parents’ inability to provide for the education needs.

He insisted that education should be the right and priority of every child, urging parents and government to prioritize on it.

“I am not happy when I see a young boy or girl dropping out from school just because there is no money to train them. And you see some of these school drop outs are most intelligent in the schools. So why do we allow these young talents to waste? It is our duty to help them to acquire quality education because upon them rests the future of the society.

“I am not a politician. I am an entrepreneur who has so much love in human development and growth. I have been rendering help to the indigents and less-privileged. God has blessed me abundantly, and I will continue to testify the goodness of God in my life and family. This is why am doing all this.

“Today, I am paying and purchasing jamb forms for 108 students of Imo state. This means that each LGA in the state has four beneficiaries. This is the first badge. We will continue to do more.”

He further urged other well-to-do individuals to utilize their God-given wealth in the services of God and humanity, insisting that, ‘a help to the society is a help for posterity’.

In the same vein, Chief Goodluck Chidera Nwaneri was honored with an ‘outstanding leadership’ award by the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN).

The honour was in recognition of his numerous philanthropic activities both in the state and Nigeria at large.

Chief Nwaneri who is the founder of Goodluck Nwaneri Foundation was flanked by his beautiful wife during the investiture last weekend in Abuja.
