Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has officially submitted a transfer request to Atalanta, intensifying his push for a move to Inter Milan this summer.
This development comes just days after Atalanta rejected Inter’s opening bid for the Nigerian international.
Sources close to the player confirmed that Lookman personally restated his desire to join the Nerazzurri, delivering a clear and direct message to Atalanta’s management.
Despite Lookman’s insistence, Atalanta remain resolute. The Bergamo-based club have made it clear they will not entertain any offer below €45 million, the value of Inter’s initial proposal.
Inter are reportedly keen on strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new season and see Lookman as a perfect fit. However, negotiations are expected to drag on as both clubs remain apart on valuation.
