Orluzurumee Youth Assembly Charges Newly Inaugurated Orlu LGA Exco On Dedication

The newly inaugurated exco members of the Orlu Local Government Area Chapter of the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly (OYA) have been urged to often demonstrate efficiency, commitment, and sincerity in managing the affairs of the socio-cultural youth organization in the locality.

The charge was given by the National President of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, Prince Izunna Obiefule, during the official inauguration ceremony of the Orlu LGA Chapter on Friday at the Orlu Local Government Council Headquarters.

In his remarks, Obiefule urged the new leadership to work with unity, resilience, and dedication in order to strengthen peace, security, and progressive development in Orlu LGA.

He noted that OYA, as the umbrella youth body for Orlu Senatorial Zone, has continued to collaborate with affiliate organizations of Orluzurumee Worldwide, including diaspora units, to empower young people through ICT and technology training, artisanship, and other relevant skill acquisition programmes.

According to him, these initiatives are aimed at enhancing the productive capacity of youths while contributing to the vision of making Orlu Zone a hub of peace, comfort, and economic prosperity for all its indigenes.

Obiefule also commended the Orlu Local Government Executive Chairman, Pastor Chris Mbarie, for consolidating the democratic ideals of the 3R administration in the council area, particularly in the areas of road infrastructure, public facilities, peace, and security.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated executive, the Coordinator of the Orlu LGA Chapter, Pastor Festus Dike, pledged the team’s commitment to upholding the ideals, vision, and operational template of the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly in advancing the development of Orlu Zone.

Dike expressed appreciation to the leadership of Orluzurumee for the opportunity to serve, assuring that the executive would carry out their responsibilities with loyalty, prudence, efficiency, and cooperation.

“We pledge to serve the people of Orlu Zone faithfully while spreading the ideals of Orluzurumee to strengthen peace and harmony across Orlu LGA and its environs. We are grateful to the national leadership of the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly for entrusting us with this responsibility,” he stated.

The Orlu LGA Chairman, Pastor Chris Mbarie, who was represented at the event by the Special Adviser on Street Naming, Hon. Matthew Chukwuemeka Oguaju, encouraged the executives to work collectively in achieving the organization’s goals.

He assured of the council’s continued collaboration with Orluzurumee in advancing the development of the area.

The inaugurated executives of the Orlu LGA Chapter of the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly include: Pastor Festus Dike (Coordinator), Engr. Sixtus Omeda (Assistant Coordinator), Mr. Chidi Obianigwe (Secretary), Chidi Obere Idinogu (Assistant Secretary), Chigozie Odonke (Financial Secretary), Chimezie Nnadi (Treasurer), Ikechukwu Agumba (Provost), Ifeanyi Nwokoro (Contact and Mobilization), Engr. Gerald Obiakoizu (Public Relations Officer), and Divine Onwuegbu (Welfare Officer).
