The Take Action Campaign for Tinubu (TACT), one of the leading groups advocating the re election of President Bola Tinubu, says it has initiated moves to purchase the presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.
The group disclosed that it has formally written to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, notifying the party of its intention.
Tony Nwulu, TACT’s national convener, made the disclosure while addressing APC women leaders who paid him a solidarity visit in his office in Abuja.
According to him, the group is also mobilising resources to support Tinubu’s re-election bid, while urging the president to remain focused on implementing the administration’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
In a letter dated April 4, 2026, and signed by Nwulu in his capacity as director-general, TACT said its decision was driven by what it described as the “significant and far-reaching reforms” undertaken by the Tinubu administration over the past three years.
Nwulu, a former member of House of Representatives and one time governoship candidate in Imo State said the reforms span economic restructuring, infrastructure development, and governance, adding that Nigerians at home and in the diaspora are convinced of the need for continuity.
TACT said its offer to purchase the nomination form reflects growing public support for the president and confidence in his leadership.
“The decision to support President Tinubu for a second term is informed by the bold and transformative policies initiated under his leadership. We believe continuity is essential to fully realise the gains of these reforms,” the letter read in part.
The group added that while some of the policies may pose short-term challenges, they are laying the foundation for long-term economic stability and national growth.
It also appealed to Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of the administration, noting that the ongoing reforms are designed to improve socio-economic outcomes.
“We call on Nigerians to show greater understanding and cooperation with the government, as these reforms are designed to ultimately improve the socio-economic well-being of all citizens,” the group said.
TACT further stated that beyond purchasing the nomination form, it would engage citizens and drive voter mobilisation efforts to ensure Tinubu’s victory in 2027.
The group urged Nigerians to support the administration in achieving its mandate, describing collective effort as critical to national development.
