Okigwe Zone PDP Backs Anyanwu As National Secretary, Hails Wike.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Okigwe Zone has congratulated Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu on his emergence as the National Secretary of the party, describing his election as a reflection of his political capacity, leadership credentials and long-standing commitment to the PDP.

In a congratulatory message issued by party stakeholders in the zone, the group said Anyanwu’s victory at the party’s national convention underscores the confidence reposed in him by party members across the country.

The statement, signed by the State Vice Chairman (Okigwe Zone), Chief Amb. Chuks Ajaelu (JP), and stakeholders from the zone praised Anyanwu’s “courage, political sagacity and unwavering dedication to the ideals of the party.”

The party leaders expressed optimism that the current National Working Committee (NWC), under its leadership, would reposition the PDP for greater cohesion and electoral success.

They also used the opportunity to commend former Rivers State governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for what they described as his steadfast commitment to the vision of the party’s founding fathers.

According to the statement, the support and influence of Wike played a significant role in strengthening the party’s internal processes and outcomes at the convention.

The Okigwe PDP further reaffirmed its loyalty to the party leadership at the national level and pledged continued support for policies and decisions aimed at consolidating the PDP’s position as a formidable political force.
