Immediate past Commissioner of Police in Imo State, Chris Ezike has thanked the people of Imo State, particularly the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha for his support and love during his thirteen months police service in Imo State.
A statement by Ezike reads:
THANK YOU IMO PEOPLE
I wish to inform all of you that I have been redeployed to police force Headquarters, Abuja,in continuation of my service to our fatherland.
I wish to thank you for your support and love during my thirteen months police service to Imo state. I particularly thank His Excellency, Governor Rochas Okorocha,OON ,the government and good people of Imo state for their uncommon partnership that translated to a drastic reduction in crime in Imo state.
I enjoin you all to give the same measure of cooperation to my successor ,CP Dasuki D.Galadanchi ,to whom I handed over today ,09/05/2018.
On behalf of my family, the officers and men of Imo state command, accept the assurances of our love and highest esteem .As a professional policeman, I am sure that our paths will always cross as friends ,brothers and sisters for good.
