Tragedy struck at Irete Autonomous Community in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State when a man suspected to be a non indigene and a tenant in the community stabbed one Mr. David Nnoromko to death.
According to eye witness report, the man who stabbed Mr. Nnoromko was chased by an angry mob that caught him and set him ablaze. Pictures of the incident had hit the social media eliciting diverse comments.
His identity could not be unraveled as at press time. The body of the deceased who was stabbed the death was said to have been deposited at the nearest morgue while the corpse of the man set ablaze was also taken away.
Further details on what led to the incident was still being awaited as the time of filing this report.
