The Owerri Recreation Club(Prisons) has elected a new President.
Speaking to newsmen after his election, the Ideato South born Ike stated that his emergence as the president of the club was an act of God. He promised to his wealth of experience to bring life changing policies that will uplift the Owerri Recreation Club to a greater height.
He maintained that his major priority to complete the Club House, assuring he will achieve such feat by bringing his business associates, politicians, his club members and his personal resources. He commended the past executives led by Esv Cajetan Ohiri for work well done.
Mr. Ike who was the Vice President in the past executives requested for maximum cooperation from his club members. He equally promised to respect every member of the club.
The election attracted club members like the past president Esv Cajetan Ohiri, Mr. Emma Asogwa, Mr. Sam Njoku, Mr. Henry Ngoka, Ethelbert Onyegbula, Dame Dr. Ada E. Madu (Ada Ikeduru) Barr. Tony Uroegbulam, Chief Chindu C. Chindu, Chief Simeon Ndubuaku (Enyioha) Dr. Okoro Eugene Ndubuisi, Engr. Abaneme Patrick (MNSE) and other club members.
