Nwosu: AA Will Form Next Imo Govt

The Action Alliance, AA Governorship candidate in Imo State, Uche Nwosu has said AA will form the next Government in Imo State.

In a statement by FCC Onwusoanya Jones, Director of Media and Publicity, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu campaign organization, he said the party will record overwhelming victory in the governorship and State House of Assembly elections, on March 2nd 2018.

“Imolites are not confused about the reality that voting for APC in the governorship and House of Assembly elections will be tantamount to selling the State on eBay and mortgaging the future of Imo people” he said

Reacting to a statement credited to the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole that the APC will win in Imo State without Governor Rochas Okorocha, he said  the AA is not unaware of plans by the APC to manipulate the 2019 election in Imo.

“We are not unaware of plans by Oshiomhole and his gang of vote robbers in Imo State to manipulate the 2019 election in Imo State. His cohorts in Imo are already boasting that the 2019 election result is already written and waiting to be announced in their favour, but Imo people are vigilant and will be waiting for them on the field”

In another statement by Mr. Jones, Nwosu commended the leadership and members of Action Alliance in State for keeping faith with the developmental and masses oriented manifestoes of the Party over the years.

Speaking when the 27 LGA Chairmen of the Party visited his campaign office in Owerri, the immediate past Chief Of staff to the Imo State Government relived the earliest days of the Party, and declared to the happiness of the Party faithful that he has returned home.  He recalled that the Party’s original name was Action Alliance for National Unit((AANU) before it merged with the National Mass Movement of Nigeria (NMMN) and took up the name Action Alliance. He recalled that the registration process for the Party started in 2002, but it was formally registered as a political Party in 2005.
Nwosu who once served as the National Secretary and the Director of Finance of the Action Alliance told the Party leaders that the Action Alliance that the Party is a homecoming for him, as he was involved with the Party from the onset.
“The Action Alliance is a Party of the masses. It was conceived by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha as a response to the suffocating Nigerian political system which made it difficult for the ordinary masses to have their way in politics. The Party is conceived to promote free education for children of the poor, equal access to healthcare and economic empowerment.”
The chattered administrator assured that he shall draw most members of his cabinet from among the ordinary people, in keeping with the philosophy of bringing the masses to the center of government, as long as they are competent for the job.
The State Deputy Chairman of the Party, Hon Uwakwe who led the delegation thanked Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for coming back to the Party and explained that thousands of Imolites have joined the Party since he was unveiled as the governorship candidate and assured that members of the Party shall deploy its massive grassroots structure across the State to ensure that he emerges the governor in 2019.
Responding on behalf of the 27 LGA Chairmen, Hon. Ifeanyi Okponwa who is the LGA Chairman for Ideato North LGA praised the humility of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu. He also explained that his confidence in the project is further bolstered by the message of powerful Men of God, who have declared that the Ugwumba Uche Nwosu project is Divinely inspired for the greater good of Imolites.
