The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State may have focused it’s searchlight on “saboteurs” who in one way or the other contributed to it’s fall as the ruling party in the State.

Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP was sacked by the Supreme Court as Imo State Governor and replaced him with Senator Hope Uzodinma of the APC.

The judgement entails the party sliding back as the opposition party in the State barely 10 months it held sway as the ruling party

Party sources told this newspaper that the party leadership is aware of moles in its midst who either leaked information to the opposition or were neck deep in the plot to truncate Ihedioha’s chances of returning as Governor.

The source said ” We know the moles. There were saboteurs in our midst and we will go after them. This time no beating around the bush. We will fish them out and expose them. From today (Thursday, March 5), you will begin to hear the drumbeats. No one involved in the act of sabotaging us will be spared”

Recall that the State Chairman of the party, Charles Ezekwem had resigned his position few days after Ihedioha was sacked as Governor of Imo State by the Supreme Court

Some members of the State House of Assembly of PDP extraction also dumped the party for the APC.
