Embrace Peace, Shun Violence, Onyeneke Urges Nigerians

Chief Dr. Fidel Onyeneke, a Media Relations Consultant, has appealed to Nigerians to embrace peace and shun violence, regardless of economic hardship or provocation.

“No matter the magnitude of economic hardship and provocation, people should not engage in inhuman and ungodly acts,” Onyeneke stated.

He condemned the incessant abuse of human rights and disrespect for the sanctity of life, regretting the humiliation and intimidation of persons that have claimed lives in different parts of the country.

Onyeneke, a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Imo Orientation Agency, noted that the culture of violence and killing is alien to Nigeria and must be curbed as a matter of priority.

He called for a change of attitude from the political class and electorate to enhance peace and unity in Nigeria.

Onyeneke appealed to governments at all levels to address critical issues causing aggression and depression among the populace.

He stressed the need for harmony between citizens and security agencies to avoid conflicts, urging security operatives to apply high-level human relations in their duties.

Onyeneke advised Nigerian leaders and the media to guard their utterances and shun provocative statements that could plunge the country into disaster.

“Let us embrace peace, love, and harmony, and shun violence and killing,” Onyeneke emphasized.
