…*Reps Member, Chike Okeafor, Traffic Warden Honoured*

Media professionals, politicians, police and other members of the society were very happy gracing the 10 years anniversary of one of the popular media outfits in Imo State, the National Newsbreak Newspaper, held at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, on Saturday.
The former Governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim (represented), Member representing Obowo, Ehime Mbano and Ihitte-Uboma Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, Hon. Deacon Chike Okeafor, Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State, Comr. Ifeanyi Nwanguma, Chairman, Independent Newspapers Publishers Association (INPA), Imo State, Declan Anele, Modestus Nwamkpa, publisher of The BigTruth Newspaper and the chief celebrant, Gele Agbai, collectively unveiled the Newspaper with a resounding chorusing of the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
Speaking, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, extolled the founder and publisher of the media outfit for upholding objective journalism in Imo State, urging him to keep faith.
Making a remark earlier, Hon. Deacon Chike Okeafor, who was the Chairman of the event,
felicitated and thanked the publisher of National Newsbreak Newspaper, Gele Agbai, for his steadfastness in the media industry, describing him as a newsworthy fellow whose reportage, he maintained, has been very effective and spurring.
Okeafor who is a Third- Term Member of House of Representatives who added that Gele Agbai has taken journalism to a plausible level given to his truthfulness, godliness, grammatical accuracy and diplomacy, reminded Media Professionals of the need to continually exemplify unbias journalism by way of maintaining ethos of the noble profession to continue to advance the goodness of the society.
While appreciating those who attended the event, the chief celebrant, Gele Agbai, invoked God to keep, bless and repay them abundantly.
However, the occasion witnessed conferment of Awards to Hon. Deacon Chike Okeafor and Inspector Uche Chidiebere (a Traffic Warden), for their selfless and effective services to humanity.Â
