Former Imo State Governor, Achike Udenwa, has expressed hope that the PDP’s leadership crisis will soon be resolved. He believes the party is ready to enforce its constitution.
Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Tuesday, Udenwa emphasized discipline for erring members. He said the party would act decisively against those violating its rules.
“Well, I think we are coming to the end of that struggle,”
“If you don’t comply with the party constitution, you will be disciplined.”he stated.
He insisted that the PDP’s constitution must be upheld at all costs.
“Nobody is above the party, no matter who he is,” Udenwa declared.
The former governor praised the efforts of the PDP’s disciplinary committee. He noted that the committee, led by Bukola Saraki, is working on appropriate sanctions.
“I’m sure they will come up with something very soon,” . “Such people will be adequately disciplined.”he said.
Udenwa stressed that the party has the courage to act. He said enforcing the rules will restore unity and order.
