The Imo State Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu, has hailed Chief Perry Opara, political adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma, as a master strategist in politics. Dr. Ukaegbu made this remark during a meeting with Opara in his office in Owerri, where he acknowledged Opara’s significant role in enhancing government communication and engagement.
Describing Opara’s contributions, Ukaegbu noted that his expertise in political strategy has been instrumental in promoting the Uzodimma administration’s vision. He stressed the importance of collaboration between the Political Bureau and the Ministry of Youth Development to build on the government’s achievements.
“God used one man, Senator Hope Uzodimma, to restore peace in Imo State, Today, we have the opportunity to tell the people about the government’s accomplishments, and individuals like Chief Opara play a vital role in this mission.” Ukaegbu stated.
The commissioner further pledged to deepen the ministry’s impact by sustaining initiatives aimed at youth mobilisation and development. He noted that such efforts are vital to ensuring Imo’s young people continue to play an active role in the state’s socio-political growth.
Chief Perry Opara, in response, expressed his appreciation for the commissioner’s leadership in advancing youth empowerment and political mobilisation. He described the Ministry of Youth Development as a crucial platform for fostering human capital growth and ensuring active political participation among the youth.
Opara commended Ukaegbu for his post-election efforts, which he said align with Governor Uzodimma’s broader agenda of infrastructural development, social investment, and human capacity building. He highlighted the synergy between the ministry and the governor’s administration as a key driver of the state’s progress.
