The Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development, CDB Williams, has saluted the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and other contestants over their emergence as candidates of the APC in the 2027 general elections.
CDB Williams, who was the APC candidate for the Owerri Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 polls, gave the salute in a message he sent to the media in Owerri on Friday.
CDB Williams, a visionary leader who has been actively complementing the efforts of the 3R administration in consolidating good governance, stated that the senatorial, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly candidates of the APC in the forthcoming polls are dignified persons whom he believes would strengthen democratic governance when they eventually win their elections.
He added that the victory of Governor Hope Uzodimma in the primaries for the Imo West Senatorial District seat was as a result of his quality leadership and performance, which he said are improving development and peace in the state.
CDB Williams, who said he is profusely happy about the success of the APC and the 3R administration, wished the Governor and other candidates success and victory in the general elections.
He promised to work effectively, closely, and determinedly with the APC, the Governor, and other supporters of the ruling party to sweep the election in favour of the APC.
CDB Williams stated that the APC senatorial candidates — Hope Uzodimma, Patrick Ndubueze, and Alex Mbata — are people of proven integrity who are loved and cherished by the people.
According to him, “Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala: Ngozi Pat-Ekeji; Orlu/Orsu/Oru East: Canice Moore Nwachukwu; Mbaitoli/Ikeduru: Akarachi Etinosa Amadi; Owerri Federal Constituency: Tochukwu Okere; Ahiazu/Ezinihitte: Chukwudi Anyanwuocha; Ideato North/South: Nnenna Sandra Inyama; Okigwe South: Jonas Okeke; Okigwe North: Uche Agasu; Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta/Oru West: Eugene Dibiagwu; Nkwerre/Nwangele/Isu/Njaba: Cosmos Maduba are also persons who have made great impacts towards the good of society.”
The prominent political figure in Owerri Senatorial Zone equally identified the Imo State House of Assembly candidates: Uchenna Osigwe (Orsu), Onwuzuruike Adanna Chinyere (Ikeduru), Obodo Ugochukwu (Owerri Municipal), Ernest Udeze (Ideato North), Godspower Onyeibe (Ideato South), Julie Egbo (Owerri North), Kanayo Onyemaechi (Owerri West), Marcel Amadioha (Ohaji/Egbema), Gilbert Nwosu (Oguta), Uche Obiozor (Oru East), Emeka Agbor (Oru West), Obinna Egu (Ngor-Okpala), Magnus Okolie (Orlu), Innocent Ikpamezie (Mbaitoli), and Modestus Osakwe (Isu).
