Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to intensify their efforts to sign Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray.
The Premier League club have been given the go-ahead to open formal negotiations and are believed to be confident of reaching an agreement on personal terms with the 27-year-old forward.
Galatasaray are understood to value Osimhen at about £65m, while Tottenham’s initial offers have reportedly been in the region of £50m to £55m.
Osimhen remains one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, with Tottenham keen to strengthen their attack with a major signing this summer. The negotiations are expected to determine whether the two clubs can agree on a fee.
