Business mogul and Chief Executive Officer of Multinet Group, Dr. Uzoma Obiyo, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Church and contributing to community development as part of his sustained outreach programmes.

Obiyo made the pledge while receiving a gathering of Anglican priests from Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, who visited him as part of their spiritual and fellowship engagements.
The visit brought together Anglican priests serving in various communities across Ikeduru, providing an opportunity for fellowship, prayers and discussions on the needs of the Church. During the gathering, the participants drew inspiration from the biblical passage in Isaiah, reflecting on the place of faith, service and commitment to God’s work.
Speaking during the interaction, Obiyo said his support for the Church was borne out of his understanding of its needs and his desire to contribute to its spiritual and material well-being. He explained that his interventions were motivated by a genuine commitment to service rather than expectations of personal returns, adding that he considered such gestures an important aspect of giving back to society.
The Multinet Group chief executive assured the priests that he would not relent in supporting the work of God, stressing that his commitment to community service extended to the Church, Ikeduru Local Government Area and other initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people. He noted that supporting religious institutions remained one of the ways through which individuals and organisations could contribute to the growth and development of their communities.
The Anglican priests expressed appreciation to Obiyo for receiving them and supporting the Church. They offered prayers for him and his family, sang songs of goodwill and wished him continued success in his business and other endeavours, while praying for God’s guidance, protection and blessings upon his household.
The visit underscored the relationship between faith, philanthropy and community development, with Obiyo reiterating his resolve to sustain his outreach efforts. His engagement with the Anglican clergy forms part of his broader commitment to supporting religious institutions and contributing to the well-being of communities within and beyond Ikeduru.
