The leadership of Orluzurumee, the apex socio-cultural body of Orlu Zone, has lauded Ralph Nwosu, Imo State commissioner for works, describing him as a star performer and one of the most distinguished members of the state’s executive council.
The commendation came during a courtesy visit by the organisation’s Executive Council to the commissioner at his office in the State Secretariat, Owerri. The delegation was led by Rt. Hon. Ugochukwu Nzekwe, President-General of Orluzurumee.
Speaking during the visit, Nzekwe said the organisation considered it important to interface with Nwosu, whom he described as “a distinguished son of Orlu, a silent achiever, a star performer and pacesetter in the cabinet of Governor Hope Uzodimma.” He said the commissioner’s work ethic and visibility have brought honour not only to the administration but to the entire Orlu Zone.
He praised the quality of road infrastructure being delivered under Nwosu’s leadership, noting that the projects have significantly strengthened public confidence in governance and elevated the profile of Orlu indigenes in public service. Nzekwe added that Orluzurumee will continue to celebrate sons and daughters who distinguish themselves in their respective fields.
Responding, Nwosu thanked Orluzurumee for the recognition and reiterated his commitment to delivering infrastructure that meets global standards. He said Governor Uzodimma’s drive to rebuild Imo has inspired the Ministry of Works to push beyond expectations.
The commissioner described Orluzurumee as a unifying force in the zone and commended its leadership for promoting community development and cultural cohesion. He pledged to continue making Orlu proud through diligence, accountability, and the execution of transformational projects.
The visit concluded with renewed assurances of partnership between Orluzurumee and the Ministry of Works as both entities work to advance development across Orlu Zone.
