Senator Osita Izunaso has been congratulated for receiving a prestigious United Nation’s award.
In a congratulatory message signed by Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu which was made available to journalists on Wednesday 14th June 2017 in Owerri, he described Senator Izunaso who is also the President/Founder Kpakpando Foundation for the Physically Challenged Persons (KFPCP) as the beacon of hope for the people living with disabilities in Nigeria.
Iwuanyanwu who is the leading Nwangele assembly seat 2019 aspirant pointed out that the award from the United Nations is a clear testimony of Senator Izunaso numerous contributions to the welfare and emancipation of the living standard of people with disabilities in Nigeria.
According to the CEO/MD of SUNGOLD group of companies; “I wish to congratulate my boss and mentor, Senator Osita Izunaso as he receive the prestigious award at the 10th United Nations Convention for the Rights of Persons with disabilities, taking place at the UN Headquarter in New York, today , the 14th day of June 2017.”
He further maintained that; “As an ardent and dogmatic believer in his philosophies, school of thoughts and what he stand for, I have watched as he have made mark as the beacon of hope for people living with disabilities here in Nigeria.”
Iwuanyanwu who promised to create a special fund for people who are physically challenged in Nwangele state constituency if elected in 2019, however prayed for Gods continue blessing and protection for Senator Izunaso, adding that; “As you take the World centre stage, I pray for God’s continuous blessings and support as you continue to seek, promote and ensure quality in the treatment and in the fundamental rights of all persons living with disabilities and to promote respect for their inherent dignity,”
He used the opportunity to reassured the people of Nwangele state constituency of quality, economic-oriented, responsive and responsible representation if elected in 2019, stressing that Nwangele state constituency deserves the best.,
