Youths of Nwangele state constituency have been charged to ensure they participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.
A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State and Nwangele Assembly seat aspirant, Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu gave the charge while addressing the leadership of Mezie Nwangele Youth Assembly (MNYA) who paid him a solidarity visit at his home recently.
Iwuanyanwu who is the MD/CEO of SunGold group of companies maintained that the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise is a unique opportunity for Nwangele people to increase their electoral strengthen inorder to maintain their enviable electoral position in Orlu zone and Imo State.
He promised to provide good incentive to encourage youths of Nwangele who are eligible to get register.
Iwuanyanwu who reminded the youths that it is a criminal offence to engage in double voters registration, however noted that his aspiration to serve Nwangele people come 2019 at the House of Assembly is to enable him actualize his dream of economic empowerment for his people.
He pointed out that the youths and the women are going to be his focal point if elected.
According to him; “My brothers, I must thank you immensely for this solidarity visit, I’m highly humbled by the kinds of support and solidarity I have been receiving from Nwangele people since I made my interest known, it shows that Nwangele people are ready for positive, impactful and people-oriented representation.
I must also reassured the people of Nwangele state constituency that I will put them first in everything.”
Earlier, in his speech, National president of Mezie Nwangele Youth Assembly, Engr. Emmanuel Amadi stressed that the group decided to vsit him after a careful study of his background, arguing that he is fit and proper to represent Nwangele people come 2019.
Amadi however reminded Iwuanyanwu that the youths of Nwangele state constituency are strongly behind him and will support his election in 2019 all in its ramification.
