The battle for the National Chairmanship seat of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, seem to be favouring for now Chief (Dr) Martin Oye.

Chief Martin Agbaso had been declared national chairman of the party by an Enugu High Court last month.

But the Court of Appeal also sitting in  Enugu has quashed the Order and declared Victor Oye as the party national chairman.

At the Court proceedings, the presiding judge granted all prayers sorted by Oye and APGA, including the Order on Stay of Execution of the earlier judgment obtained by Agbaso from the High Court

The court went further to dismiss a motion to join three new persons in the Appeal moved by Agbaso’s lawyer as the presiding Judge said it lacked merit and foundation.

The court also abridged the time for filing the appeal and commencement of the matter expeditiously. Thereafter the appeal by INEC and Police was also heard by the court, as the lead Judge warned charlatans to stop playing pranks, insisting that there would be no room for such rascality.

The latest judgment further swell the division in the party plagued by the  intra party squabbles and battle for Supremacy
