Ahead of the 2019 governorship election in Imo State, a template to select the next Governor of Imo State is underway
The move is driven by Representatives of several groups such as the Olu Owerri, the Nigeria Bar Association and Orlu zuru mee.
This is contained in a statement signed Chief Emeka Diwe, President General Orluzurumee, Barr.Damian Nosike, Secretary, Nigeria Bar Association, Chief Fidel Onyeneke, Chairman of Template Committee and Chief Martin Opara, President Olu Owerri.
According to the statement, the template will be unveiled at a press conference in Owerri on Thursday, 20th September, 2018.
There are more than 40 governorship aspirants scattered across six political parties in Imo State- the highest in the political history of the State.
