For Hon. Jones Onyeriri, member representing Isu/Nwangele/Njaba/Nkwerre Federal Constituency in Imo State, the journey to the Nigerian Senate is a mission that has to be accomplished. He has carried on with his campaigns with so much zeal and firepower touring the nooks and crannies of the zone- the largest in the State.

Such campaigns has been greeted with tremendous approval and applause from the people of the zone who are yearning for a Senator with a human face and desire to work tirelessly for the people.

Orlu senatorial zone is made up of 12 local Governments and has been plagued by poor representation since democracy returned to the country in 1999.

Hon. Jones’s impressive performance as representative of his constituency has earned him massive support and backing by the good people of Orlu zone who have urged him to represent them at the senate. His quality representation which has been attested to by his constituents.  In the green chambers, he has also proved his mettle where he rose to become House Committee Chairman Banking and Finance, one of the key and strategic committees in the House of Representatives.

Up against a fierce opposition such as Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha who is the APC candidate for Orlu senatorial seat there is no doubt that Jon. Jones is unfazed about this major challenge. He has the backing of his people who are determinant factors in electing a senator for Orlu zone in the February 16, 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Speaking to newsmen on Jones’s senatorial ambition, Director General of his campaign organization, Prince Eze Ugochukwu, urged the people of the zone to consider the immense benefit of electing Hon Jones as the next Senator.

He assured that the House of Reps members would use his vast experience, knowledge and connection to effectively bring actual development, peace, and security as jobs will be given to deserving youths, women empowerment.

According to him, scholarship will be given also to students of Orlu zone including skills acquisition, assuring that constituency funds would be judiciously used and duly accounted for. He said he would also erect Constituency House for easy interface and accessibility.
