A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State, Chief Chukwudi Godson Opara (Udochimara Emii), has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma on his emergence as Governor of Imo State.
Opara said Governor Uzodinma should quickly kick start the process of uniting the people, particularly the political class in the State, who were divided by years of political skirmishes.
In his congratulatory message, he said “I commend Hope Uzodinma on his emergence as Governor of Imo State. This shows that one’s destiny can only be delayed but not denied.
“Uzodinma is destined to be Governor of Imo State.The Supreme Court judgment which declared him Governor is a reflection of the massive votes Imo people gave to him during the March 9, 2019 governorship elections.
“I advise him to reconcile everyone including the aggrieved. That is the only way forward for the State. It will translate to development, prosperity and progress of the State.
“Governor Uzodinma has become a rallying point and an instrument for that unity to thrive in Imo State and in the South East, which can serve as a basis for the APC in the South East to take a shot at the 2023 Presidency.
“I pray God to give him the wisdom to govern Imo well. I have faith in his abilities. The workers, pensioners, all those who have suffered in the State after years of neglect, look up to his administration for restoration.
“I have confidence he will not disappoint the people of Imo State. He will live up to expectation.
