The field is set. The stage is about to be lit. The players are almost ready. The referee, soonest will officially blow the starting whistle to declare the contest open. It is a contest which will eventually culminate at the polls to birth a fresh breath and breadth, a Senator to represent Owerri Zone at the Upper Legislative House for 4 YEARS!
I expect it to be nothing else than these: a contest of wit, a duty-bound contest, a contest of selfless, visionary and examplary service and servant-leadership, a contest by achievers/record makers, a contest of purposeful capacity and absolute capability; one of effective and efficient representation and enthronement of audacious hope for posterity, a new awakening; not one of dumb politics and politicking garbed in electionspeak, not one of gimmicks and pseudo-‘up’s’; and never one of showmanship and temerity. Infact it shouldn’t be a contest for misfits. This is what it ought to be and I hope, great minds, your expectations aren’t less?
The Good People of Owerri Zone come 2023 will be at the polls to elect their Representatives at the national and State level, with the Senatorial position among the Office(s) to be enriched and not a mere seat to be occupied by sedentary frame!
As the times reveal, ursurper-goliaths from all political leanings are filing out, ready for a kill; and in their midst is a special breed of sort, an uncommon stock, a periscope who is not from the lineage of ursurpers or clan of misfits. He is a humble ‘David’ whose achievements dwarf the pack of wolves. This “David” is non other than PRINCE ALEX MBATA-, a young, vibrant, sound industrialist, quiet benefactor and knowledgeable administrator with purposeful legislative acumen needed at this hour to address the dire needs of the people of Owerri Zone and our land; and as well redress the plight of a blessed people whose destiny has been eaten by cankerworms.
PRINCE ALEX MBATA is a man whose noble lifestyle and glaring towering feat has taught us all that love emanates from the heart; that being a Christian is to emulate the ideals epitomized in the story of the good Samaritan; that one does not necessarily need to stand on a vantage position to be a good man.
As is said, “great destiny demands great leader’s,” PRINCE ALEX MBATA who is vying to represent OWERRI ZONE as APC SENATORIAL CANDIDATE in 2023 is a man of valour with proven testaments to his name. He is the best among the rest to rejig our polity and place our drenched spirit on a new trajectory of smiles as against the lamentations we face.
