Baring unforeseen circumstances, the All Progressives Congress, APC, would hold its governorship primary in Imo State and other states, on April 10, 2023.
It is expected that Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma would seek to be returned as governorship candidate of the party.
The Governor is yet to officially declare his second term bid, though stakeholders and close allies have consistently drummed support for his re election.
INNONEWS was informed that screening of governorship aspirants will commence on Saturday, March 25, in Abuja.
The Imo governorship election would take place on November 11, 2023.
