Ahead of the November 11, 2023, governorship election, the apex socio political group in Owerri zone, the Owerri Peoples Front (OPF) has unveiled an Opinion Poll for governorship candidates of Owerri zone extraction.
The OPF, in the poll, shortlisted five governorship candidates from Owerri zone involved in the guber contest, namely Kemdi Opara of the YPP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu of the PDP, Lincoln Jack Ogunewe of the AA, Tony Ejiogu of APGA, and Kachi Nwoga of the ADP.
According to the details of the Poll, made available to newsmen and signed by Ebere Chukwuemeka, Convener of the OPF, voting for the Opinion poll starts on October 3rd and ends on October 12th.
According to the OPF convener, voters can vote for the candidate of their preferred choice via text to 08104349308.
“It is one man, one vote. Multiple votes will not be accepted,” Chukwuemeka told INNONEWS.
He said the Polls was conducted to ascertain whom among the candidates from Owerri zone, who stand a chance to win the governorship election.
