Nigerian defender Zaidu Sanusi underwent a knee surgery in Porto, supervised by Professor Jose Carlos Noronha, after an injury sustained during a FC Porto league match.
The left-back faces approximately eight months of recovery and aims to return to action for the next season.
Sanusi, 26, has made five league appearances for Porto this season, according to reports from Portuguese website A Bola.
