Prince Dr Alex Mbata (PAM) has felicitated with the good people of Owerri zone in particular and Imo state in general at this year’s Easter celebrations.
In a release by his media office in Owerri, Prince Mbata expressed thanksgivings to God for His abundant grace and mercy unto His people seeing them through in all the challenges of daily living.
He reminded said, “Easter holds a significant phase in the lives of every Christian,” continuing, “God, through the divine gift of His begotten son Jesus Christ, restored humanity to His original position.” Prince Mbata said it is now left to man to uphold the grace by living true to God’s injunctions.
He stressed the need for everyone to look inwards with a sense of self deflection, forgive, extend a helping hand, encourage, inspire one another and maintain peace and unity.
He further said that Jesus Christ through His Father, showed the way, paid the supreme price for our sins even when He was guiltless. According to him, nothing is greater than this. This, Prince Mbata said should be our take home lesson for Easter.
He enjoined everyone to continue to support our governor in his efforts to make the state better.
Prince Mbata said in spite of the current challenges our nation is facing, there is are determined efforts at all levels of governments to tackle the problems. He called on Owerri zone people in general and the state in general to keep hope alive stressing that sooner than later, we will overcome all challenges.
He wished everyone a happy and blissful Easter.
