Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Wednesday, tutored Governor Hope Uzodimma on good governance and security, urging the Imo State Governor to engage frustrated militant members of the society to de- escalate conflict and promote peace.
Obasanjo made the remark at Banquet Hall of Government House, Owerri, when he visited the State, as part of activities to celebrate his 85th birthday.
Obasanjo however lauded the Imo State Governor on the laudable developmental strides witnessed in the State under his administration.
Governor Hope Uzodimma on his part, commended the former President and his political journey over the years.
“Baba as he is fondly called, remains a pan Nigerian who has contributed greatly to the progress, development and unity of our nation
“As he continues to enjoy the blessings of God with longevity, we will continue to tap from his wisdom in nation building and economic growth” he stated.
