The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the onboarding of 22 additional state-owned tertiary institutions to its portal, enabling their students to apply for loans.
This development has left Imo State University (IMSU) in the lurch, as it was not included in the list of newly uploaded institutions.
The agency made the announcement on its official platform, stating that students from the newly uploaded institutions can now apply for student loans by visiting (link unavailable)
The newly uploaded state-owned tertiary institutions include Adamawa State Polytechnic Yola, College of Education Afaha Nsit, and Akwa Ibom State University, among others.
Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, and Niger Delta University are also on the list.
Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-uku, Delta State University of Science and Technology, and Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, have been uploaded to the portal.
Benjamin Uwajumogu State College of Education Ihitte Uboma, Imo State, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, and Kaduna State College of Education Gidan Waya are also part of the new additions.
Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia, Niger State Polytechnic Zungeru, and Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, have been onboarded.
D.S Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic Itori-Ewekoro, Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, and Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, are also on the list.
Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Plateau State University Bokkos, Port Harcourt Polytechnic, and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, complete the list of newly uploaded institutions.
