There are plans by the present administration to demolish the Afor Oru and Relief Markets. This was alleged by a governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Hon Uche Onyeagocha.
According to a statement signed by Onyeagocha’s media aide, Mac Enwere, he said such planned act is not only inhuman and sadistic.
“No doubt, we are aware that the prime motive of Governor Okorocha and his party APC is to add more pains, hardship and suffering to the same people he rendered hopeless. For Christ sake, what has Imolites done to Governor Ethelbert Okorocha and APC to deserve these acts of wickedness” Onyeagocha said
He called on Okorocha to first, rebuild all the markets he has destroyed in the State and equally compensate those affected.
“We hereby call on the good people of Mbaise nation and the entire state to rise and passively resist Governor Okorocha from demolishing Afor-Oru and Relief market or any other market in the state” Onyeagocha said
