The foremost Igbo Global group, World Igbo Development Initiative as an ideology geared towards bringing together like minds to create a very formidable platform that will enable the advancement of the course of Igbo people and also steer them towards economic development of their region is set to unveil it’s Aku ruo ulo lecture series soon.
The Project Director of strategy and planing, Amaobi madu in a statement said the aims and objectives of the initiative are to forge a common front for Igbo agenda and identity through the development of the Igbo race , it’s people, culture and traditions.
He added that the programme is poised to encourage the development of Igbo land by celebrating those who have done much in that regard through culture, education, economy, governance, and other means and also seek government support in creating enabling environment for development to thrive in the region among other things.
“This initiative has an immediate mission of instituting a lecture series capable of drawing the attention of the entire Igbo nation to the course( developing the Igbo land) which is tagged “AKU RUO ULO” lecture series.. ANA ESI N’ULO MARA NMA PUO AMA(charity Begin’s at home)”. He asserted.
