Rt Rev. Chukwuma Opara, PHD has been enthroned as the Lord Bishop of Owerri Anglican Diocese.
The event took place at the Cathedral of The Transfiguration of Our Lord, CATOL, Owerri, Imo State on Monday, 19th November, 2018.
The ascension of Chukwuma as Head of Owerri Anglican Diocese came after the exit of Cyril Okorocha who retired as Bishop of the Diocese.
A tussle for Okorocha’s replacement led to legal squabbles until the matter was amicbaly resolved paving the way for the appointment of Rev. Chukwuma as the new Bishop.
Among eminent personalities who witnessed the enthronement include Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.
