The founder and President Power of House Assembly Abakaliki, Evangelist Ephraim Ononye has admonished Christians to always imbibe the culture of praising and thanking God even in the face of challenges facing them.
Ononye who gave the advice while addressing a mammoth crowd of worshipers at Power House Assembly mile 50 Abakaliki during their 2018 Harvest and Thanksgiving programme said that showing appreciation is the bedrock of Christianity.
He said praise is the only thing that can bring unexpected miracles and blessings to Christians.
He said as Christians we should learn to continuously appreciate God despite challenges facing them.
“We should praise God always in any condition we find ourselves, as Christians we should praise God out of season “. Ononye said.
He urged Christians to always put their trust in God not Man as Man can fail but God will not fail.
He regretted that that most ordained men of God have deviated from their callings to seek earthly treasures forgetting the give of all gift God.
Also speaking, a guest of honor Barrister Roy Umahi who emphasised the need of Christians to always Live a Life of praising God urged Christians to always have faith in God to overcome challenges.
The event which preceded with a five day prayer packed program with a theme “The Four Carpenters” which had Bishop Obi Onubogu, PFN chairman, Rev Fr Val Umumuo, Rev Christian Molokwu and Rev Titus Onwuchekwa as guest preachers featured special rendition by the choir, testimonies, impartation prayers, family Thanksgiving and presentation of bags of Rice and undisclosed amount of money to over 200 windows by the founder Power House Assembly, Pastor Ephraim Ononye.
