Barely a week primary and secondary schools, resumed in Imo State, it has been closed downn again in compliance with the curfew imposed in the State by Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Governor Uzodinma had imposed a 24 hour curfew in the State to contain the #End Sars protest in the state.
State Commissioner of Education, Prof B.T.O Ikegwuoha, directed all principals, heads of schools and stakeholders in the state school system, that the curfew announced by the Governor affects all schools, both public and private.
According to him, only students in uniform sitting for NECO examination which is a national examination are exempted.
Schools in the State were reopened on October 15 after eight months it was closed due to the outbreak of Covid 19.
