Terem Moffi is overjoyed to receive a belated call-up to join the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Despite being initially excluded from Nigeria’s final roster for the competition, the 24-year-old OGC striker secured a last-minute invitation as a replacement player.

Expressing his delight, Moffi said, “I’m thrilled to be back in the team. Naturally, it was challenging to be initially left out of the tournament squad, but I’m determined to give my best to the team.”

With an impressive record of four goals in 12 appearances for the Super Eagles, Moffi is set to rejoin the squad on Sunday.

The unexpected turn of events adds an intriguing twist to Nigeria’s lineup, as Moffi gears up to contribute his skills and prowess to the team’s quest for success in the Africa Cup of Nations.
