AC Milan are reportedly planning to offload Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze this summer.
However, the 26-year-old has hinted on social media that he wants to remain at the club.
Chukwueze shared an Instagram post wearing a vintage AC Milan jersey, with red and black heart emojis in the caption.
The post received support from teammates Rafael Leao and Fikayo Tomori, who both liked it.
Despite Chukwueze’s show of loyalty, reports claim new Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri prefers Alexis Saelemaekers as a backup for Christian Pulisic.
Saelemaekers is returning from a loan spell at Roma and could be part of Allegri’s plans for next season.
Chukwueze joined Milan from Villarreal in 2023 for €21 million but has struggled to become a regular starter.
So far, he has made 69 appearances, scoring eight goals and assisting six more for the Rossoneri.
