The Igbo Agenda for Tinubu, a pro-Tinubu group, has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, declaring that it has secured seven million votes across the five Southeast states for the president.
The group made the declaration on Saturday in Enugu, saying it had activated its strategies and structures towards delivering the votes to Mr Tinubu.
“We have reserved all the votes in the zone for President Tinubu and have activated all of our strategy and structures towards achieving that objective,” the group stated.
The group cited projects delivered by the Tinubu administration in the Southeast as the basis for its support.
“No vote will escape,” the statement continued. “We have put in place the strategies and structures to achieve our objectives.”
The group said the seven million votes in the zone had already been allocated to Mr Tinubu.
It further declared that presidential candidates and political parties seeking votes in the Southeast would be wasting their time and resources, as all available votes in the zone had been allocated to the president.
It however stated that other parties may still visit the region, hold campaign rallies, address supporters, erect billboards, organise town hall meetings, mobilise their structures and campaign through the media in pursuit of presidential votes.
According to the group, however, such efforts would yield little because no “loose votes” remained for them to capture.
The group said its declaration was part of its strategy to secure seven million votes for Mr Tinubu across the Southeast in the 2027 presidential election.
