Madumere who last week denied being absent from office for 90 days had fallen apart with Okorocha and joined the Imo APC Coalition who engaged the Governor in a fierce scramble for the soul of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State.

The Deputy is a leading member of the Coalition which consists of  Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, APC National Organizing Secretary, Osita Izunaso, Senator Benjaminu Uwajumuogu, Sir TOE Ekechi and others.

The Deputy Governor in his address at the National Youth Day Celebration of Youth Ministry of the Assemblies of God Church, Orji in Owerri North Local Government Area last Sunday, said the time has come for the youths to be part of re-positioning the State for better governance. He urged them to say no to thuggery, money politics and other electoral fraud that may jeopardize their future.

“Make no mistake in believing that leadership is only when you find yourself in elective post. Your conduct, feelings towards the  pains of others, your readiness to make the needed sacrifices when necessary and your education is all that matter” he said.

Represented at the event by his Special Adviser (Political), Chief (Sir) Chris Nwike PHD, he urged the youths to endeavour to gain more knowledge and exposure about leadership now that the “Not Too Young To Run” bill has been signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Deputy Governor bagged an “outstanding service” award at the event
