As part of efforts to ascertain why it failed woefully in Imo and other States considered to be its stronghold during the last general elections, the All Progressive Congress, APC is moving to fish out saboteurs who contributed in one way or the other to rob it of victory.

The party National Working Commitee, NWC, in a bid to reposition the Party, has constituted a 5 member Commitee to review the numerous petitions on anti party activities of some members from the States.

Imo State is the only State in the party’s kitty in the South East before the elections which it lost to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and failed to even produce a single member of the State House of Assembly.

It was learnt that most party leaders believe that many of its victories were not just over turned because of the manner it held its primaries in some States but because some party members failed to adhere to rules of the party and and even went ahead to sabotage it.
