As Ngor-Okpala State Constituency Bye- election holds on Saturday, February 26, 2022, the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the election, Hon. Chris Nwaiwu, has begged the people of Ngor-Okpala to come out en masse and cast their votes for APGA, to enable him get to the State Assembly.
He assured that he will live up to expectation of the people, vowing to change the ugly narrative of politics and representation at the constituency, assuring that he will not disappoint them if elected.
Nwaiwu gave the assurance while speaking to hundreds of Ngor Okpala people at a rally held at Nguru Umuaro Central School, on Thursday.
Stating that he is the most qualified candidate in the bye- election, Nwaiwu promised to give his people solid and people oriented representation by speaking for them and attracting infrastructure to the constituency.
“I will be a mirror of development, youth and women empowerment. I had good education, good home training and I believe in God and human capacity building, society edification, peace and comfort. I will not disappoint you because I love Ngor-Okpala and Imo State”. he said
Speaking earlier, Imo State Chairman of APGA, Hon. John Iwuala, begged the people of Ngor-Okpala to massively cast their votes for Chris Nwaiwu, assuring that he would not disappoint them at the House, but would do exploit.
“Vote for Chris Nwaiwu because he will speak for your goodness and rescue you from political and social bondage. He is a good person who is deeply grassrootted and humane”. he stated
Reassuring the APGA candidate of winning the election, APGA Owerri Zonal Chairman and Woman Leader, Hon. Cosmos Unakalamba and Hon. Mrs. Grace Ugo, including, Ngor-Okpala LGA Chairman, Hon. Charles Akuchie, Dr. Colin Uju, appealed to the people to shun bribe and vote for Chris Nwaiwu to emerge victorious and do the needful for the people.
