CHAN 2025: Remo Stars Dominate Final Super Eagles Squad With Nine Players

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the final 23-man squad for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), with Remo Stars Sports Club emerging as the dominant force, contributing a record nine players to the home-based Super Eagles lineup.

Announced on Tuesday by Coach Eric Chelle, the squad features a solid blend of youthful energy, domestic league experience, and tactical balance across all departments. The inclusion of nine Remo Stars players reflects the club’s growing influence and consistency in domestic football.

Leading the goalkeeping department are Henry Ozoemena Ani (Enyimba FC), Nurudeen Badmus (Kwara United), and Lawal Mustapha (Shooting Stars SC), all set to battle for the number one shirt.

In defence, Remo Stars’ Sodiq Ismaila and Junior Harrison Nduka are joined by Bankole Afeez (Kwara United), Taiwo Abdulrafiu (Rivers United), Uzondu Harrison and Ngene Leonard (Ikorodu City FC), and Stephen Mayo (Rivers United).
