Hon. Basil Maduka of Akpodim Community in Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area has extended Christmas greetings to the people of Mbaise Nation and the wider Owerri Zone, urging them to embrace the spirit of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence that defines the season. He described Christmas as a sacred period that calls for reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to shared values.
In his Christmas message, he noted that the celebration of Christmas goes beyond festivity, stressing that it is an opportunity for individuals and communities to deepen understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect. According to him, these virtues are essential for sustaining peace and fostering development across Mbaise and Owerri Zone.
Maduka further called on the people of Mbaise and Owerri zone to use the season to strengthen communal ties and extend support to the less privileged in society. He emphasized that collective compassion and responsibility remain critical to building a more inclusive and harmonious society.
