About 15 persons lost their lives at Umuozu in Nwangele Local Government Area when an articulated truck lost control and ran into a popular market in the area.
Eye witness says the truck lost control of its brakes and crushed some women selling their wares at the roadside.The incident which took place around noon on Saturday, between Anara- Orlu and Orlu – Amaraku Expressway left many others injured.
It was gathered that the truck which was descending a hill lost control, killed the women after ramming into other vehicles.
